Digging notes

  • Japanese pressings often come with an obi, the paper strip across the spine. Collectors like it kept intact.
  • Disk Union and similar shops grade condition on their own scale, so read the grade sticker before the price.
  • Take a sleeve-safe tote or a small backpack. Records are heavy and thin plastic bags split.
  • Ask for the used section by name. The phrases are on the Phrases page under Record shops.
